Dr. Ricky Mullins was born and raised in the mountains of southwest Virginia. He was raised in church and attended UVA Wise, Liberty University, and Virginia Tech. He recently completed his second doctorate in pastoral theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

 

Ricky is an ordained Independent Baptist preacher and has served many roles within the church, ranging from Youth Pastor, to Music Minister, to Sunday School Superintendent, and Senior Pastor of Valley View Baptist Church in Richmond, Kentucky. In 2021, he created an evangelistic ministry, RDM Ministries, and was the staff evangelist at Living Waters IBC. As of August 1, 2022, Ricky is the new Senior Pastor at Living Waters Independent Baptist Church in Wise, Va.

 

Ricky has been preaching since he was 18 years old, and is known as a preacher that holds true to old-time preaching and singing.

He married his wife, Brooke Mullins, in 2010 and they currently reside in Wise County, Virginia. They have two sons, Silas and Jesse.
